Getting approved

Every new shop goes through a quick approval process before going live. This keeps Crafted Market trustworthy and 100% WA handmade.

We check that:

Your products are genuinely handmade

You're based in Western Australia

Your shop has a description and at least one product listed

Approval usually takes 1–2 business days. Once approved, your shop goes live automatically.

If you haven't heard back after 2 business days, email us at lachlan@craftedmarket.com.au

Section 5

Getting paid

Crafted Market uses Stripe to process all payments and pay sellers directly.

1

A buyer purchases your product and pays at checkout

2

Crafted Market deducts an 8% platform commission

3

The remaining amount is sent to your connected Stripe account

4

Stripe pays out to your bank account on a rolling 7-day basis

To receive payments you need to connect a Stripe account. Go to your Dashboard and click “Connect Stripe payments” in the Shop Health checklist.

Your Earnings page shows a full breakdown of gross revenue, commission deducted, and net earnings.

There are no listing fees or monthly fees — Crafted Market only takes a commission when you make a sale.

Note

Crafted Market is currently free to list with no product caps. In the future we plan to introduce optional subscription plans with additional features — existing sellers will be notified well in advance of any changes.

Section 6

Shipping & dispatch

Crafted Market sellers are responsible for shipping their own orders.

When you get an order

  1. 1

    You'll be notified via email

Shipping tips

Be honest about dispatch times

Consider including a small card so buyers remember where they bought from

You set a flat shipping rate for your shop in Shop Settings. This is charged to buyers at checkout automatically.
